Barbados has one International Airport - The Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI), which acts as a gateway to the eastern Caribbean. The airport was recently renovated, being completed in 2007 and is one of the largest in the region with connecting flights to other Caribbean and some South American destinations as well. It is approximately a 40 minutes drive from the villa.
