Barbados is the most easterly of all the Caribbean islands. Its climate is warm all year round with daily sunshine lasting for approximately 12 hours / day. It measures 21 miles by 14 miles at its greatest diameters and has an area of only 166 square miles (431 sq km). However for such a small island it boasts a wide range of activities, attractions, culture and things to keep you busy on your vacation. Whether it be from duty free shopping to lazing around at many of the island's lush white sand beaches in the day or dining at one of the island's world renowned restaurants or playing a game of golf at one of the challenging courses with breathtaking view of the island or Caribbean Sea in the background, there is always something for everyone to do. And to make it even more enjoyable, most of the island's attractions and activities are within 20 minutes of the villa.
